- Relax. The real way other people do, instead of the way where I force myself to.
- Take more pictures of people.
- Go on a trip.
- Write a list of 365 things that make me happy. (in progress)
- Have people over.
- Watch some of those movies everyone thinks I should have seen but I haven’t. (done)
- Have plants. Don’t kill them.
- Finish those damn cross stitches for my mom already! (done)
- Take a good picture of me and Dan.
- Go to as many baseball games as possible.
- Make my new apartment feel like home without spending too much money.
- Don’t let my handwriting go to waste.
- Write 28 lists. (working on it)
- Spend more time outside.
- Banish my beer-sponsored belly and fit into those skinny jeans after all.
- Learn how to cook at least three new things. (roasted sweet potato salad, three-bean super stew, pasta with tomatoes, mozzarella and chickpeas)
- Say what I think. Ask for what I want.
- Love the people who matter to me.
- Go on interesting photo-taking excursions. (the balloon festival, Coney Island, the Met, Princeton, crafts in Philadelphia, Asbury Park, the Museum of Natural History)
- Take a risk or two.
- Work toward completing a rainbow of shoes. (Love it.)
- Lie in the grass, look at the sky, and feel the wind.
- No really, age is just a number. Grow up. Stay young. Be silly. Talk a lot. Take pictures. Hug more. Be happy.
(27 Things To Do While I Was 27)

excellent! although, don’t you think #13 should be #1?
also, i am very excited about #26!!
jodi, I have a feeling my mom might agree with you about #13! And #26 was a whim at the end, and the more I think about it, the more I’m LOVING that idea.
I wish I was there to do #2 and #24 with you. Or better yet, to combine #2 and #24! I also seriously need to do #3. And as far as #8 goes, let us know if you get a hankerin’ to come to Texas. We’ve got a spare bedroom that could be yours for a couple of days…
Cole, #2 and #24 will definitely have to be combined! (They’ll probably hitch a ride on 52 Beers, while they’re at it.) I’m actually really hoping they can be combined for awesome in October, but we’ll see! Texas is awfully tempting…..
I’ll take care of number 4 & you can teach me to crochet, which will strike one off of my list
We can do number 1 the next time we go to the movies if you want … ooh, or we can go to the BOARDWALK and play skeeball AND go to a photobooth.
Becky, I’m not sure the one at the mall counts.. but we’ll have to investigate. And I definitely plan on taking you up on your offer to help me with number 4!!!
